This research aims to identify the interaction between democracy and the street from a legal standpoint using a descriptive-analytical method. The central inquiry revolves around the connection between the street and democracy. Democracy has four essential elements: public participation, equality, protection of minority rights through respect for human rights, and pluralism. The interaction between democracy and the street occurs in three dimensions: democratic street (a street that fully complies with the components of democracy in its form and structure), street democracy (the use of interactive democracy methods at the street level with the involvement of civil society to extend participation to marginalized people such as people without housing and vendors), and democracy on the street (It involves establishing the required technical platforms in streets to facilitate civil disobedience and protests, through meetings, marches, assemblies, sit-ins, carnivals, flash mobs, etc. and also speech to create the common world and reach consensus decisions). If these links are created and strengthened, the street can become good so that citizens desire to attend it, and democracy will find a way from election periods to daily life contexts. خیابان ابداع انسانی برای تسهیل آمد و شد و دموکراسی الگویی برای مشارکتی سازیِ حکمرانی است؛ این پژوهش به دنبال تبیین تأثیر و تأثر متقابل دموکراسی و خیابان ازمنظر حقوقی، با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی این پرسش را مورد پژوهش قرار میدهد که چه ارتباطی میان خیابان و دموکراسی وجود دارد. دموکراسی چهار مؤلفه حداقلی دارد: مشارکت همگانی، برابری، تضمین حقوق اقلیت ازطریق رعایت حقوق بشر و تکثرگرایی. دموکراسی و خیابان در سه بعد برهم کنش دارد: خیابان دموکراتیک (خیابانی که در شکل و ساختار در انطباق کامل به مؤلفه های دموکراسی است)؛ دموکراسی خیابانی (استفاده از روشهای دموکراسی تعاملی در سطح خیابان منتها با به کارگیری نهادهای جامعه مدنی جهت تسری مشارکت همگانی به همه گروه ها و افراد حاشیه ای مانند بی انمانها و دست فروشان) و دموکراسی در خیابان (به معنای ایجاد بسترهای فنی لازم در خیابان برای انجام نافرمانی مدنی و تجمعات اعتراضی ازطریق برگزاری میتینگ، راهپیمایی، تجمع، تحصن، راه انداختن کارناوال، ازدحام ناگهانی و نظایر و نیز گفت وگو به قصد صورت بندی جهان مشترک و اتخاذ تصمیمهای اجماعی). درفرض ایجاد و تقویت این پیوندها هم خیابان واجد وصف خوب می شود، یعنی شهروندان به حضور در آن تمایل پیدامی کنند، هم دموکراسی از ادوار انتخاباتی به متن زندگی روزمره تسری می یابد.
