The social theory is the application of a set of theoretical frameworks for the analysis of macro-social structures,which provides the possibility of meeting and linking different social sciences,regardless of the criteria and various issues specific to each one.This theory is the bassis of research in sociology and other social sciences and covers a very wide and diverse area.The social theory of law seeks to examine law as a distinct and separate social phenomenon from the perspective of social theory.Michel Foucault is considered one of the most influential french postmodern and poststructuralist thinkers of the 20th century,whose works are not only important in sociology,but also in many fields ,including cultural studies,anthropology,psychology,law,and his works are considered as one of the most important tools for reviewing the nature and scope of rights and law from the perspective of long-term fundamental changes in the nature of the social.This research,firstly has explained the nature of social theory as well as the social theory of law ,and then it has described and theoretically analyzed law in society from the perspective of Michel Foucault.
