In the summer of 2026, coinciding with the conclusion of another academic term and the administration of students examinations, Issue 114 of the Legal Research was published. In this issue the selected articles have been published after undergoing different phases of formal and substantive review, literary and technical editing and final page layout. In this regard, we appreciate all esteemed authors, who collaborated with us to complete the preparation process.
The first article of this issue No. 114 is dedicated to "A Reflection on the Institutions, Stakeholders, and Modes of Water Governance in the Legal Systems of Iran and Afghanistan". This article studies water governance through analyzing legal and institutional structures and considering Iran's and Afghanistan's legal systems. Moreover, this issue of Legal Research encompasses topics in various areas including International Law, Intellectual Property Law, Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Law & Criminology, Human Rights, Civil Liability Law, Child Law, Contract Law and Public Law containing articles from esteemed and prominent authors aiming to provide readers with appropriate content in different legal fields.
We respectfully request the authors to fully study the journal's guidelines before submitting their articles to get informed of the journal's formal and substantive requirements. This leads to time reduction in evaluation and review process and prevents the prolongation of initial formal review before substantive review. We desire that the review process be completed in a reasonable and standard time however the initial formal and structural deficiencies including failure to adhere to word count limits or journal's citation method and etc. hinder the achievement of this goal.
We also recommend that respected authors, if they use artificial intelligence to find sources relevant to their field of study, personally examine and analyze the sources suggested by the AI. Sometimes, the sources introduced by AI do not actually exist, or their information is incomplete or incorrect, which calls the authenticity of the article into question. We strive at various stages, including the technical editing stage, to minimize such cases; however, on this path, we need the cooperation of respected authors, their adherence to the prevailing rules and regulations, and their commitment to the principles of research ethics.
We strive to publish the journal's issues on time and consistently to play our constructive and efficient role and develop the existing legal literature with our respected audience as part of our social responsibility.
