It has always been an important question to find out the difference between apetition and an action. Is the first related to the form and second to substanceof the claim, or do the two have the same meaning, however differentverbally? The difference has also been generalized to the discontinuation ofpetition and action to the extent that it is led to the creation of three orders.We will soon find out that the difference between the two and, as aconsequence, the difference between the discontinuation of petition andclaim is related more to the time and processes of the proceeding than totheir semantic differences.
